About Hancock
The mission of Hancock International College (HIC) is to provide a high quality educational experience to each enrolled English as a second language (ESL) student. The goal of our training program is to have each of our students acquire reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in the English language in order for them to prepare for a successful American college experience. The philosophy of the ESL program at our institute is that English is best learned when written and oral skills are combined.
HIC offers English language classes for non-native speakers as well as TOEFL preparation classes. All ESL classes are taught in a communicative and interactive way incorporating as much cultural content as possible. Thus students learns not only the skills needed to master the English language, but also the appropriate context in which to use them while living and studying in the United States.
